These are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is an available option. Depending on which engine/trim you choose, the Acadia is rated to tow from 1,000 lbs. with the base engine. This amount goes up to 4,000 lbs. with the more powerful V6 engine.
